Our Story

Julia Warwick Design began in 2020, in the quiet hours of an unexpected pause.

I had brought just one needlepoint canvas with me to my parents’ house in Delaware—thinking it would be enough to keep my hands busy until I returned home to New York City. But as weeks stretched into months, I found myself with a finished canvas and a growing itch to keep stitching. So I picked up a paintbrush, taught myself how to paint canvases through YouTube, and haven’t stopped since.

My first designs were created as a fundraiser for frontline workers during the early months of the pandemic—a small way to give back to those who were giving so much. Since then, Julia Warwick Design has grown into a collection of needlepoint canvases and accessories that celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and the meaningful joy of making something by hand.

Our Name

The name Julia Warwick holds a special place in my heart—it was the name my parents planned to give me until just days before I was born and honors two remarkable women in my family. Giving this name new life felt like a fitting tribute to the deep-rooted tradition that has shaped both this craft and my love for it.

Our Purpose

For me, needlepoint has been both a meditative practice in stressful times and a way to commemorate joyful ones.

Each of our canvases is painted with care, designed to bring a bit of beauty, whimsy, and intention to your stitching time—whether you’re working on your first project or your fiftieth.
